Hawaii Day 6 - Byodo-In Temple, wedding rehearsal, and more beaches! (2-12-11)

H3 on the south side of the ridge, never know what the weather on the other side will be...
The clouds forming on the north side of the ridge.

A reincarnated traveler.
Byodo-In Temple
Ringing the bell.
Jen and Ken's wedding rehearsal.
Malasadas are the local specialty, sort of a donut without a hole.
Waimanalo Beach Park
More semi-permanent campers.
These guys look legit... actually we had a coconut from them, it was good!
Behind the hedge on the left is the 'Robin Masters' estate.
Makapu'U Beach
'From Here to Eternity' beach alongside Koko crater.
Back to Waikiki at the Halekulani's bar called House Without a Key for drinks...
...and great classic Hawaiian music.  Recommended!   (Note the ubiquitous 3 businessmen in front of us talking about the best way to spend their per diem while in Hawaii!)
